Ya, so five year olds are my new favorite age group. Jackson was so unbelievably hilarious during our session. He told some pretty wild stories for a man of his age. He's going to be a big brother soon. I'm betting that baby is going to be in good hands with this kiddo around to teach him the ropes.
At Christine McGuigan Photography we specialize in real, photojournalistic wedding photography. Based in Omaha, we travel all over the midwest and country.

Kyler - 6 Month Photos - Omaha Family Photographer
I had too many favorites of Kyler not to post a few. I am very, incredibly, unapologetically impartial to the boys these days. Girls get to be dressed up in pretty clothes and cute bows and sit in front of gorgeous backdrops. But the boys? Strip them down to their diapers and let them roll around on a rug. As a mother of a little boy, I can tell you that there's nothing better in his world than being in his birthday suit.

Elizabeth and Barry - A Homegrown Wedding - Omaha Wedding Photographer
Elizabeth and Barry were married on Leap Day at Barry's family's house. There were certain things about this wedding that made it so incredibly special, so incredibly meaningful. Things like the best man grilling steaks after the ceremony or eating their reception dinner on the family china. Family members who lived out of the country watched the day from a laptop set up next to the officiant. I mean, when else do you see a bride all dressed up playing cars with her son?
It meant so much to me to be a part of this wedding. This is a perfect example of people who know that love and family (and some paperwork) are all you need for a wedding. You don't need a large venue or a DJ, catering or an open bar. A wedding can happen anytime, anywhere and look like anything you want it to look like.
